Enterprise FAQ
Where will my data be hosted?
We currently have data centers in the US and Europe. While the GovCloud and HIPAA editions are restricted to the US, the Custom Cloud edition offers multiple geographic options available from Amazon.
Are there user licenses?
No, there are no "seat" or per-user licenses. Enterprise plans includes unlimited users—each user simply counts as a record stored in your database.
Are there limits on the number of records or apps?
It depends on your agreement. Plans can be customized to allow for unlimited records and applications. In these cases the limit is based more on the technical capacity of the infrastructure to support your usage.
Can I implement additional security measures like scans, audits, and tests?
Yes, enterprise plans can accommodate additional security requirements. We’ll need to discuss these in detail before providing an estimate for your plan.
Who owns my data if I use Knack?
You do. Although the data is stored in Knack databases, you are the complete owner of your data and are solely responsible for its contents.
Will you fill out our security questionnaire?
In some cases, yes. In others, we’ll provide policies and details that often answer all security related questions.
